1. Acceptance of Terms
By using Pebl, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you don't agree with any part of these terms, please don't use our service.
2. Service Description
Pebl is a message organization application that:
- Organizes messages locally on your iOS device using AI
- Temporarily queues WhatsApp messages until your app retrieves them
- Processes messages on-device using your own OpenAI API key
- Stores all data locally in your app, not on our servers
- Automatically deletes temporarily queued messages after delivery
3. How Our Service Works
Message Queue Service
- We operate a temporary message delivery service for WhatsApp integration
- Messages are held only until your app retrieves them (maximum 7 days)
- All message processing and storage happens on your device
- You control your own data through the iOS app
AI Processing
- AI categorization happens entirely on your device
- You provide and control your own OpenAI API key
- We don't process your messages with AI on our servers
- AI usage is subject to OpenAI's terms of service
4. User Responsibilities
Account Management
- Provide accurate WhatsApp phone number for linking
- Keep your device and app secure
- Manage your own OpenAI API key and usage
- Notify us if your WhatsApp number changes
Acceptable Use
You agree to use Pebl responsibly and legally. You may not:
- Send spam, harmful, or illegal content through our WhatsApp integration
- Attempt to access other users' message queues
- Abuse our temporary storage service with excessive messages
- Interfere with or disrupt our service
- Use the service for any unlawful purpose
5. WhatsApp Integration Terms
Message Delivery Service
- Voluntary participation: You choose which messages to send to our WhatsApp Business number
- Temporary storage: We hold messages only until delivery to your app
- WhatsApp compliance: Use must comply with WhatsApp's Terms of Service
- Business number usage: Our WhatsApp Business number is solely for message queuing
Phone Number Linking
- You must link your WhatsApp number to receive messages
- One WhatsApp number per user account
- You can unlink your number at any time
- Unlinking immediately stops message delivery and clears any queued messages
6. OpenAI API Integration
Since AI processing happens on your device using your OpenAI API key:
- Your responsibility: You must obtain and manage your own OpenAI API key
- Direct relationship: You have a direct relationship with OpenAI
- OpenAI terms apply: Your use is subject to OpenAI's Terms of Service and Usage Policies
- API costs: You are responsible for any OpenAI API usage costs
- Rate limits: OpenAI's rate limits and restrictions apply
7. Data Ownership and Control
Your Data Rights
- You own your messages: All message content belongs to you
- Local storage: Your organized messages are stored locally on your device
- Export capability: You can export your data from the app at any time
- Deletion control: You can delete your data locally or request deletion of queued messages
Our Limited Role
- We act only as a temporary message delivery service
- We don't analyze, process, or permanently store your messages
- We don't have access to your organized message database
- Your local app data is entirely under your control
8. Service Availability
Message Queue Service
- We strive for high availability but don't guarantee 100% uptime
- Scheduled maintenance may temporarily affect message queuing
- WhatsApp API limitations may affect message delivery
iOS App Functionality
- Core app functionality works offline
- AI processing requires internet connection to OpenAI
- WhatsApp integration requires our queue service to be available
9. Limitations and Disclaimers
Service Limitations
- iOS only: The app currently supports iOS devices only
- WhatsApp dependency: WhatsApp integration depends on WhatsApp Business API
- OpenAI dependency: AI features require your OpenAI API access
- Message limits: Subject to WhatsApp and OpenAI rate limits
AI Processing Disclaimers
- AI categorization may not always be perfect
- You can review and modify AI suggestions
- AI processing happens on your device with your API key
- We're not responsible for OpenAI service issues
10. Liability and Warranties
To the maximum extent permitted by law:
- Service provided "as is": We don't provide warranties about service availability
- Limited liability: We're not liable for data loss, service interruptions, or third-party service issues
- User responsibility: You're responsible for backing up your local data
- Third-party services: We're not responsible for WhatsApp or OpenAI service issues
11. Termination
By You
- Delete the app to stop using our service
- Unlink your WhatsApp number to stop message queuing
- Your local data remains on your device unless you delete it
By Us
- We may terminate service for terms violations
- We may suspend service for maintenance or legal reasons
- We'll provide reasonable notice when possible
- Your local app data is unaffected by service termination
12. Privacy Integration
These terms work together with our Privacy Policy, which explains:
- How we handle your temporarily queued messages
- When and how messages are automatically deleted
- Your rights regarding any data we temporarily process

13. Updates to Service and Terms

- iOS device: Compatible iPhone or iPad
